On 1 September 2025, the Google Ads and Google Shopping dangerous products and services policy will be updated to restrict the following category of products:
Promotion of pill presses, encapsulating machines and related components used for compacting or filling powders, granules or other materials into tablets or capsules.
Examples: Pill presses, tableting machines, dies, moulds, stamps, punches used for creation or imprinting of pills and tablets.
We will begin enforcing the policy update on 1 September 2025 with full enforcement ramping up over approximately six weeks.
Violations of this policy won’t lead to immediate account suspension without prior warning. A warning will be issued at least seven days prior to any suspension of your account.
Please review this policy update to determine whether any of your ads fall in the scope of the policy and, if so, remove those ads before 1 September 2025.
